1. What does "Kanso" mean?

"Kanso" is a Japanese aesthetic principle centered around simplicity. It refers to the elimination of clutter in favor of clarity and utility. We curate our tools based on this philosophy—providing you with essentials that do more with less.

2. How do you select the tools in your collection?

Every item in our store undergoes a rigorous selection process. We look for three things: Efficiency (does it solve a problem?), Durability (will it last?), and Design (does it look good in a modern home?). If it doesn't meet all three, it doesn't make the cut.

3. Do these tools require special maintenance?

Most of our tools are designed for low maintenance. For items with removable parts, like our GlideClean Blind Brush, we include machine-washable microfibers. Specific care instructions are provided on each product page to ensure your tools last a lifetime.

4. Are your solar products weather-resistant?

Yes. Our solar lighting collection, including the LuminaSquare and EternalFlame, is rated IP65 or higher. This means they are fully protected against rain, snow, and heat, making them perfect for year-round outdoor use.

5. How long does shipping take?

To keep our collection curated and affordable, we ship directly from our specialized fulfillment centers. Standard shipping typically takes 7–12 business days. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order is on its way.

6. Can I change or cancel my order?

We aim to process orders as quickly as possible. If you need to make a change, please email us at support@kansocollect.com within 12 hours of placing your order. Once an item has shipped, we are unable to cancel it.

7. What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-day "Simple Living" Guarantee. If a tool doesn’t simplify your life the way you expected, you can return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Items must be in their original packaging.

8. Do the solar lights work in cloudy weather?

Our high-efficiency solar panels are designed to harvest energy even on overcast days. While the brightness or duration might be slightly reduced compared to a full-sun day, they will still provide reliable evening illumination.

9. Are your cleaning tools eco-friendly?

Sustainability is a core pillar of Kanso. Many of our tools, like the PurePolish Microfiber, are designed to clean effectively using only water—eliminating the need for harsh chemical sprays and single-use plastic bottles.

10. How do I track my package?

Once your order is fulfilled, you’ll receive an email with a link to our Tracking Portal. Simply enter your order number and email address to see the real-time status of your delivery.
